Spokane therapist mental health, anxiety, depression, trauma therapist, sunlit therapeutic services

Katie Ramos, MS, LMHC

Hello and Welcome!

My name is Katie and I’m excited that you’re interested in seeking therapy services. I am a partner at Sunlit Therapeutic Services with over ten years of experience working in the mental health field. Thank you for considering me as a support on your journey toward healing and growth. I am a licensed therapist offering a warm and welcoming space for individuals who are looking to explore and understand themselves.

I provide a sex-positive, inclusive environment where I respect and honor the diverse ways in which people identify, express, and experience themselves. Whether you’re exploring your gender identity, navigating relationships (monogamous or polyamorous), or seeking acceptance and validation as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I am here to listen without judgment and provide support.

I specialize in working with adults who have lived through traumatic experiences and who are now facing the daily impacts of these events. This includes those who have gone through a specific traumatic event or many over the course of their lives. In therapy, I help them process and navigate their experiences in order to restore a sense of control over their life.

Additionally, I understand that living with a chronic illness can present unique emotional and psychological challenges. I support individuals in managing the emotional toll that chronic illness can have, offering coping strategies, emotional resilience, and a space for processing these experiences.

As a therapist trained in EMDR, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Inference-CBT (ICBT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), I offer a range of modalities to best meet your unique needs. While I primarily use EMDR and ICBT in my practice, I am committed to working collaboratively with you to identify the therapeutic approach that works best for you. Every individual’s experience is different, and I believe therapy should be tailored to fit your personal goals and healing process.

I am committed to creating a safe and meaningful therapeutic relationship that allows you the space to navigate your healing journey. I offer both in-person sessions in Spokane, WA, as well as Telehealth services for clients throughout Washington State. If you’re ready to begin, or just want to explore whether we’re a good fit, I invite you to reach out. I forward to connecting with you.

Kayla Levine, MPA, MSW, LICSW

Hi there! I’m Kayla Levine, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) and partner at Sunlit Therapeutic Services, PLLC. With nearly a decade of experience, I’ve had the privilege of supporting adults through some of life’s most challenging and transformative moments. Whether you’re navigating the complexities of new parenthood, managing the emotional impacts of chronic illness, feeling stuck with overwhelming feelings of anxiety or depression, or simply trying to find your footing through life transitions, I’m here to help.

In particular, I’m passionate about working with perinatal women—those who are pregnant, in the postpartum period, or planning for a growing family. I understand the emotional complexities of this time, and I’m dedicated to providing a supportive, non-judgmental space to explore everything from the anxiety of pregnancy to the adjustments of motherhood. Whether you’re struggling with perinatal depression, anxiety, or just the pressures of balancing a new identity, I’m here to help you find balance and confidence in your journey.

My work is rooted in creating a warm, safe space where we can work together to build the skills and insights you need to move forward. Above all, I believe you are the expert of your own life, and my goal is to help you tap into your own inner strengths and resilience. I approach therapy with a deep sense of empathy and collaboration, focusing on strengths and self-compassion. Your journey is unique, and our work together will reflect that. Together, we can navigate the challenges you're facing and build the life you want to lead.

I know how overwhelming it can feel when life presents new or unexpected challenges, and how challenging it can be to take the first steps toward healing. Together, we can explore what’s holding you back and work toward the changes that will bring you peace and fulfillment.

If you're ready to begin the process of healing and growth, especially as you navigate life's transitions, I invite you to reach out. Together, we can address your challenges and work toward lasting change. I look forward to connecting with you and supporting you every step of the way.
